l Usher has joined the list of sheepish stars (Nelly Furtado, Beyonce, etc.) who say they're donating the money they were paid to perform at private parties they now acknowledge (whoops!) were hosted by Moammar Gaddafi's family. Usher says he'll give his seven-figure paycheck from the 2009 gig to human-rights organizations, reports ABC News.
l The Daily Show's Larry Wilmore will do emcee duties at the March 30 Congressional Correspondents' Dinner -- the next big media-political-complex banquet on D.C.'s calendar (previously known as the Radio-Television Correspondents' Dinner, and traditionally known as "the one that's almost as big but not as star-filled as the White House Correspondents' Dinner"). The president or VP typically attends.
