Good grief! A stash of love letters that the late “Peanuts” cartoonist Charles Schulz sent in the early 1970s to a much younger woman failed to find a bidder at an NYC auction Friday, reports the Associated Press. The family of his now-ailing crush, Tracy Claudius, decided to sell them, and Sotheby’s experts had projected the rare trove of correspondence would fetch at least $250,000. Somewhere the Little Red-Haired Girl may be laughing.
