Apologizing: Washington Nationals pitcher Chien-Ming Wang, 32, who confessed to having an extramarital affair two years ago. A tabloid in his native Taiwan recently published photos of him with the other woman, prompting him to call a press conference Monday in Florida for Taiwanese journalists. Wang explained the eight-month fling began after the 2009 shoulder surgery that preceded his leaving the Yankees for the Nats. “I was feeling hopeless during the long hours of rehabilitation every day,” he said. “At the low ebb of my life, I had this affair.” He added: “Because of my lack of will, I have hurt my wife, my family and this woman. There are no words to describe how deeply sorry I am to have hurt you all.”

Oversharing: Deion Sanders, 44, the former NFL and MLB superstar, who live-tweeted a Monday night fight with his estranged wife, Pilar, as she was arrested by police in Texas on suspicion of misdemeanor assault. “Pray for me and my kids now!” he wrote. “They just witnessed their mother and a friend jump me in my room.” The Dallas Morning News reports she was released Tuesday and denies beating him.

Hanging out: Ashton Kutcher, 34, and Mila Kunis, 28. A rep for the newly-single actor last week denied that he’s dating his former “That ’70s Show” co-star — and then the two promptly embarked on a three-day paparazzi-tracked weekend getaway in Carpinteria, Calif., reports People. You know. Like you do with your platonic friends.
