Dennis Quaid, 57, and Kimberly Buffington Quaid, his reps confirmed to the AP late Friday after initial rumblings on TMZ. The actor and his real-estate agent wife wed in 2004; his third marriage, after stints with actresses P.J. Soles and Meg Ryan. The couple has twins, now 4, who nearly died in 2007 when a hospital gave them an accidental overdose of blood-thinner medicine. They recovered, but the close call prompted Quaid to take up the cause of medical errors.
