Heidi Klum, 38, and Seal, 48, after seven years of marriage, they told People and AP. The red-carpet-friendly duo were the subject of a
Paterno-like swirl of conflicting Internet reports over the weekend — first that they planned to file for divorce, then counterclaims from friends that they were fighting but working on things, and finally the late-Sunday statement that they “love each other very much, but. . . have grown apart” (no mention of divorce yet). The supermodel-turned-“Project Runway” host and the singer have four children, including her daughter by Italian tycoon Flavio Briatore with whom she was pregnant when she met the Grammy winner.
• Disengaged: Aretha Franklin, 69, who announced Monday that her wedding to longtime friend Willie Wilkerson is off. The couple got engaged over the holidays; it would have been the star’s third marriage. “We were moving a little too fast,” they said in a joint statement.
