Princess Madeleine of Sweden (Mike Coppola - GETTY IMAGES) • Engaged: Princess Madeleine of Sweden, 30, to New York hedge fund partner Christopher O’Neill, 38, palace officials in Stockholm announced Thursday. It’s a happy rebound for the youngest child of King Carl XVI Gustaf and Queen Silvia and current fourth-in-line. Just over two years ago, she broke up with a lawyer fiancé back in Sweden after reports that he’d had a one-night stand with a Norwegian handball player. Madeleine promptly fled to Manhattan, where she met O’Neill. Wedding planned for next summer.
