Tim Hightower (John McDonnell/The Washington Post)
• Married: Redskins running back Tim Hightower and Rikki Bailey, on June 2, he only just now got around to revealing. The Alexandria native, 26, and the girlfriend he met back at the University of Richmond tied the knot at his alma mater, Episcopal High School. He told our colleague Sarah Kogod that they threw themselves into premarital counseling: “I’ve been single for 25 years, so I know how to be single. But I don’t know how to be married.” Lessons? “Give things time to grow. . . Be patient. Just because you put a ring on your finger one day doesn’t mean all of a sudden you wave a magic wand and everything’s perfect.” Read more: Tim Hightower on marriage (D.C. Sports Bog)
