Mopping up those Oscar spills: Sacha Baron Cohen’s stunt, Jlo’s wardrobe slip, Sean Young’s arrest

It wasn’t enough for Sacha Baron Cohen to show up dressed as a dictator to promote his upcoming movie — he had to dump fake ashes on Ryan Seacrest during the red carpet interview. “I definitely did not know he was going to do that,” Seacrest said Monday on his radio show. But his mom’s advice saved the day: “My mom told me when I was a mini red carpet reporter, ‘You always want to make sure you have two jackets. You never know what’s going to happen’. . .So I had another jacket.”

Oh, yes she did: There’s some debate if Jennifer Lopez’s plunging neckline did/did not reveal a non-PG part of her breast, causing a nip of scandal in the otherwise tame show. Twitter went crazy about the on-stage wardrobe malfunction; defenders claimed it was just a shadow. “There were cups built in and NO chance that there were any, how do you say, ‘slips,’ ” tweeted her stylist Mariel Haenn. “Jlo dress did give the illusion! jokes on every1 who thought they saw something!” Illusion. Yeah, that must be it.

Actress Sean Young (“No Way Out”) wants an apology from the Academy after her arrest for battery outside the Governors Ball, reports People. Young, who didn’t have a ticket, slapped a security guard who told her she couldn’t stand at the entrance of the post-ceremony dinner taking pictures for her Facebook page.
