Quoted: François Hollande’s son Thomas speaks out about Valérie Trierweiler

“It made me feel bad for my father. He so hates people talking about his private life.”

Thomas Hollande, son of new French president François Holland, criticizing first lady Valérie Trierweiler in an interview with Le Point for publicly supporting a political opponent of his mom, Ségolène Royal, thus airing the family dirty laundry. Er, Thomas, isn’t that what you're doing now, too? The young lawyer later told AFP his comments were taken out of context from an informal converation. The magazine also quoted him saying that neither he nor his siblings will agree to see Trierweiler: “I knew something could come from her one day but not such a great blow.”
