Make all the jokes you want — the women of Blondes vs. Brunettes flag football haven’t just heard them all before, they probably told them first. What started as a larkish small-scale fundraiser within the Georgetown scene has blossomed, diversified, gone national and grown fiercer, reports Amy Argetsinger, to become a Junior League for the Title IX generation in the era of hair-color emancipation.

In other news: Gloria Cain, the mystery woman of the 2012 campaign and one of the few political spouses not to hit the trail. Now, though Herman Cain’s wife is speaking out in his defense . .
