How do you get to be one of the richest members of Congress? By marrying well. Roll Call’s annual survey of congressional wealth is topped by those whose lucre came with vows, note our In the Loop colleagues: Rep. Mike McCaul, whose $305 million comes largely from his in-laws’ family business, Clear Channel Communications; and Sen. John Kerry, who married the ketchup heiress. Other wealthy-by-marriage lawmakers include Nancy Pelosi, Dianne Feinstein, Richard Blumenthal.
