Our colleague Al Kamen was already onto the next big Donald Trump controversy even before the birther one was settled this morning: Trump wants to build an addition onto the White House so they don’t have to put up a lousy old tent for state dinners. He says he’s even talked to David Axelrod about this, though Axelrod has a slightly different account, having to do with Trump offering to oversee the Gulf oil spill cleanup.
