Yes, of course Morgan Spurlock asked McDonalds to sponsor his “The Greatest Movie Ever Sold,” a documentary about product placement, funded by product placement. But they said no to the director of “Super Size Me,” as did most fast-food outlets, even Wienerschnitzel. (“Like you guys have got so much going on!” Spurlock exclaimed at a downtown screening last week.)

Also: Michelle Obama’s commencement-speech lineup this year includes the University of Northern Iowa, Spelman College, West Point, and Quantico Middle High School.
