You knew that Washington super-chef Jose Andres is a friend and disciple of Spanish super-super-chef Ferran Adria. But did you know that Adria fired Andres from El Bulli back in 1990? Everything’s cool now, though, reports Tim Carman, in conversation with the two culinary giants.
