Is Charlie Sheen a birther? Honestly, we don’t care. But when he implied on a D.C. stage that the president wasn’t born in the U.S. and the young-professional crowd cheered — well, that’s alarming. The audience antics were often more amusing than Sheen’s, reports our colleague Dan Zak, veering “between boos and applause so frequently and quickly that one was indistinguishable from another.” Oh, and guess who was there signing autographs? The Salahis, “inadvertently creat[ing] the event-horizon of a cultural black hole.”
