How did that AP photographer manage to show up on the scene of Michelle Obama’s undercover Target trip? The AP says “source work,” the White House isn’t saying, and critics are calling it a staged photo-op, reports Paul Farhi.


Bush strategist Nicolle Wallace is out with a second novel, “It’s Classified,” about life in a fictional White House. Critic Patrick Anderson says the smart book’s main weakness is the cartoonishly inept vice president, all too clearly informed by “Wallace’s personal scorn” for Sarah Palin.
