Another former Redskin is running for Congress: Jimmy Farris. The political newbie — Joe Gibbs’s “little ol’ guy who fights his guts out” — tells Dan Steinberg he’s not worried about running as a Democrat in Republican Idaho. “I’ve faced longer odds than that trying to make the Redskins roster.” He’s the fourth Redskin to run for Congress in recent yeras, though only Heath Shuler has made it thus far.

Cameron Crowe loves Pearl Jam almost as much as he loves Cameron Crowe,” writes Chris Richards in his review of the “Pearl Jam Twenty” documentary, where the director pops up “like a self-congratulatory Waldo, happily tagging along with his pals instead of doing the messy work of asking tough questions.... He is a lousy journalist, allergic to touchy subjects.”
