Read this: The ‘Real Housewives’ angle on the latest D.C. scandal; David Letterman; Rosin & Plotz

Other interesting stories in The Washington Post:

You run into the darnedest people in a city government scandal: Kim Zolciak. (Frederick M. Brown/Getty Images)
Sure, Nikita Stewart and Debbie Cenziper’s A1 story may look like your typical story of alleged corruption and/or mismanagement in D.C. government — but this time the alleged crony allegedly benefitting from his relationship with chief tax appraiser Tony L. George is “Big Poppa,” Kim Zolciak’s former consort on “Real Housewives of Atlanta.” So that’s something.

And yes, despite the fact that he probably loathes these types of things, David Letterman will indeed show up to accept his Kennedy Center Honor. (Other 2012 honorees: Dustin Hoffman, Buddy Guy, Led Zeppelin, Natalia Makarova.)

Dan Zak watches as Hanna Rosin and David Plotz — “one of Washington’s media-centric, byline-famous couples who make their living off the perceptual scoop” — spar over her new book, “The End of Men.”
