Surreal estate: Joe Lockhart selling Kalorama home

Seller: Joe Lockhart

Asking price: $3.4 million

Details: Bill Clinton’s former White House press secretary just listed his 1908 Harry Wardman-constructed home in Kalorama. The 5,600-square-foot townhouse has five bedrooms, 3-and-1 / 2 baths, three fireplaces, a back terrace with an outdoor kitchen, and a rooftop deck. Lockhart, who bought the property six years ago for $3.1 million, was hired by Facebook as a veep for communications last year; a divorced dad, he said at the time he’d likely move to the Bay Area for the job once his daughter finished high school. We’re told he’s downsizing, too: Records show he also recently unloaded a golf-course condo in Oregon.
