“I didn’t like doing it. . .  I did what was asked of me for the part I was playing. Mostly asked by men.”

— Jamie Lee Curtis on the topless scenes she did in movies early in her career. In a Huffington Post essay, she decried Oscar host Seth MacFarlane’s mocking song about actresses who did nude scenes (“We Saw Your Boobs”) as sexist and tacky. Geena Davis is among the other stars criticizing MacFarlane’s hosting job; in an appearance to discuss gender equity at the California Assembly in Sacramento Monday, she called the Oscar broadcast “tone-deaf” and disrespectful, reports AP.
