Is this really going to happen? Today’s insight comes from Kentucky Gov. Steve Beshear (D) who told reporters Tuesday that he has had another phone conversation with the actress last week and “I’m convinced that she is seriously considering a race for the United States Senate in the Democratic primary, and we’ll see where it goes.” He also called her “effective and formidable” — but noted that there are some other strong contenders out there, i.e., people with previous political experience.
