• Saving the date: LeBron James, 28, and his long-long-longtime girlfriend Savannah Brinson. What is the true relationship milestone for a couple that has been together since high school and already has two children, a $9 million home and an open-ended engagement going back more than a year? Let’s decree it should be moment they actually set a date. The Miami Heat star and his fiancee recently mailed save-the-date cards to friends, reports TMZ; the wedding is scheduled for the weekend of Sept. 14 in San Diego. (Similarly, Michael Jordan just finally applied for a marriage license with Yvette Prieto, the model he got engaged to in late 2011.)

Seeking alimony: Demi Moore, who filed papers in L.A. Superior Court Thursday asking estranged husband Ashton Kutcher to provide spousal support and attorney fees, reports People. Though she once commanded more than $10 million a movie, he has probably surpassed her financially; just before they separated in late 2011, he signed a $24 million a year deal to star in “Two and a Half Men.”
