That was a rough time, she told the magazine; just months earlier the usually swaggering supermodel/pop star had given birth, at age 43, to their daughter Giulia. “Having children when you’re older,” she said, “is not easy.” And yes, this is our second quote in 24 hours from Carla Bruni-Sarkozy, but when she is on, there is no one more quotable than Carla Bruni-Sarkozy!
