Alec and Hilaria Baldwin will co-chair the Freer and Sackler gala celebrating the Sackler’s forthcoming “Yoga: The Art of Transformation” exhibit. What does that mean exactly? That the star and the wife — who will share hosting duties with the museum’s top patron, Dame Jillian Sackler — will attend the Oct. 17 fete, a museum rep told us, for which tickets start at $1,000. It’s the Baldwins’ first involvement with the Smithsonian’s museums of Asian art, and it’s unknown whether they’ve got a big donation in mind – but as you know, she’s a yoga teacher. Baldwin announced the co-chairing gig on Twitter Wednesday. Oh, wait — were you wondering what a yoga gala is like? Unclear, but we think the attire is standard black-tie, not Lululemon.
