Are your days as one of the coolest man on the planet perhaps numbered when a congressman starts raving about your new album. . .

. . . on Twitter?

Jay-Z got an unexpected tribute — possibly the most enthusiastic review yet of his new “Magna Carta . . . Holy Grail” — from Rep. Trey Radel.

The freshman Republican from southwest Florida — who has proudly advertised his love of hip-hop — noted on Twitter Tuesday afternoon that he had “been asked several times here” about the superstar’s new CD, Radel set about to review it, song by song, 140 characters at a time.

Well, that sounds like a hearty endorsement! (Only question: Is your moment as the coolest congressman on the Hill undercut when your press office alerts reporters about all the new follows you got from your Jay-Z tweets?)
