Usher is facing a nasty custody battle with his ex-wife Tameka Foster after their 5-year-old son’s pool accident. Looks like he’ll be fine, but an emergency hearing over primary custody is set for later this week. (People)

Dustin Hoffman had a cancer scare but has been successfully treated, his rep said Tuesday: “It was detected early and he has been surgically cured.” No details, but the actor is “feeling great.” (People)
