Want a taste of Jesse Jackson Jr.’s life before the fall? The US Marshals Service is auctioning some of the ill-gotten luxury goods the former congressman bought with campaign funds. Among the goods available via the Gaston & Sheehan online auction house: a couple of mink coats, some Bruce Lee collectors’ items (“autographed 8 x 10 color photo from ‘Fist of Fury’ movie”; “autographed 8 x 10 color photo from ‘The Way of the Dragon” movie”), and a guitar autographed by Michael Jackson and Eddie Van Halen, among other MJ memorabilia (“framed and matted “Michael Jackson” autographed poster of 25 Anniversary of Thriller”), many of this stuff picked up from a collector’s shop in Vegas. Oh yes. It’s sadder than you thought. The Illinois pol was recently sentenced to 30 months in federal prison.
