Seller: Estate of Viola Drath

Sale price: $1.235 million

Details: Does homicide hurt a home’s resale value? Not in the red-hot Georgetown real estate market. The row house in which Drath, a 91-year-old socialite, was found apparently beaten and strangled in 2011 (her mysterious much-younger husband Albrecht Muth awaits trial) went on the market this summer for $995,000 . . . and sold within a couple weeks well above asking price, according to public records. Three bedrooms, two-and-a-half baths, two fireplaces, exquisite hardwood floors throughout.
