After two seasons, Katie Couric’s daytime talk show is coming to an end; of course, she has that major deal with Yahoo! to keep her busy. (AP)

Nigella Lawson’s former assistants have been acquitted in the fraud trial, which also resulted in the revelation of personal details about the celebrity chef. Lawson called the trial “a ridiculous sideshow” with allegations of her drug use, and it “made focus on the actual criminal trial impossible.” (People)

Thursday was John Oliver’s last night on “The Daily Show” (he’s heading to HBO to host his own series), and Jon Stewart gave quite the lovely tribute. (Spoiler alert: Oliver cries and it’s very sweet.) (The Wrap)
