It will be the second marriage for both, who have been together since 2009. The actress took to social media to announce the big news and, of course, to show off that ring. “Sooooo this happened…#Yessss,” she tweeted with a pic.
Steve Harvey cleared
Child-abuse charges against comedian Steve Harvey, 56, have been dropped. His second ex-wife, Mary Lee Shackelford, had claimed that the “Family Feud” host abused their 16-year-old son, Wynton. Authorities dropped the child-abuse allegations after an investigation by the Texas Department of Family and Protective Services, Us Weekly reports.
Last Thursday, Shackelford was sent to jail on contempt-of-court charges; she is serving a 30-day sentence after she leaked information about the case to the media.
Three 6 Mafia member dies
Rapper Ricky “Lord Infamous” Dunigan of the group Three 6 Mafia died Friday night at his mother’s home in Memphis. The official cause of death for the rapper, 40, is still unknown; media reports say he died in his sleep of a heart attack. Dunigan suffered a heart attack and stroke in 2010.
Members of the group shared the news with fans. “R.I.P. lord infamous,” Juicy J tweeted Saturday.
“Thx you for your prayers, I’m very hurt, can’t believe it’s true,” Lil Wyte added. “He gave us the name #Triple6Mafia he was a pioneer, he was a god, he was my friend.”
As a member of Three 6 Mafia, Dunigan shared an Academy Award for Best Original Song for “It’s Hard out Here for a Pimp,” featured in the 2005 film “Hustle & Flow.” Three years later, the group won Favorite Band/Duo Group at the American Music Awards.
‘Glee’ star’s surprise wedding
“Glee” actress Dot-Marie Jones, 49, married her longtime girlfriend, Bridgett Casteen, Saturday night at their Los Angeles home, People reports. The wedding surprised their guests, who came to the couple’s home for a holiday party but soon were informed they were actually gathered to witness their nuptials. Jones, who plays Coach Shannon Beiste on the Fox hit, popped the question to Casteen at Disneyland during Gay Days Anaheim weekend in October.

“Warm Bodies” actress Teresa Palmer, 27, wed actor, Mark Webber, 33, in a private villa Saturday in Punta Mita, Mexico. The couple met last September and announced their engagement this past August. Isaac Love, Webber’s son from a previous relationship, served as ring bearer for the ceremony. Palmer is pregnant with the couple’s first child.
Top authors and other celebrities are memorializing Ned Vizzini on Twitter after the best-selling author (“It’s Kind of a Funny Story”) committed suicide Thursday by jumping off the roof of his parents’ home in New York. He was 32.
