Walker to appear in “Fast” sequel
Universal Studios announced that Paul Walker, who was killed in a car accident Nov. 30, will indeed be featured in “Fast & Furious 7.” The statement officially confirmed a Facebook post by Vin Diesel, which also gave the April 10, 2015 release date. “Continuing the global exploits in the franchise built on speed, Vin Diesel and Paul Walker lead the returning cast of Fast & Furious 7,” the studio said in the statement released Monday.
Beyoncé’s holiday cheer
Beyoncé visited a Wal-Mart in Tewksbury, Mass., on Friday to do a little holiday shopping for herself and the rest of the patrons, the Los Angeles Times reports. The 32-year-old star announced to the crowd that the first $50 of their purchase was on her, totaling a $37,500 tab for the singer. Her latest self-titled album, released Dec 13. at midnight, has sold 1 million copies. At her Wal-Mart stop, Beyoncé bought a copy of her album, and a baby doll for her daughter, Blue Ivy.
Brown’s rehab break
E! Online reports that Chris Brownwas released from rehab in order to attend a holiday toy drive at Brooklyn Projects Melrose in Los Angeles on Sunday. The 24-year-old singer was given a day pass for co-hosting the event.

Nicholson’s bubbly apology
Actor Jack Nicholson interrupted an interview with actress Jennifer Lawrence at the Academy Awards back in February, but tried make amends — in style. To apologize, Lawrence, 23, told ABC News that Nicholson, 76, sent her a bottle of Cristal and a note that said “Missing you already.”
Harold Ford Jr., a former Democratic congressman from Tennessee, and his wife Emily welcomed a daughter, Georgia Walker Ford, on Sunday. Ford unsuccessfully ran for a Senate from Tennessee in 2006 and considered a run from New York in 2010.
Actress Kate Winslet, 38, and husband Ned Rocknroll have revealed the name of the first child for the couple: Bear Winslet, say People. Bear joins Winslet’s other children Mia, 13, and Joe, 10.
