John Kerry cheers for Yale

Hey isn’t that… Secretary of State John Kerry, whooping it up at Madison Square Garden during the Yale-Harvard hockey game on Saturday.

The nation’s top diplomat — who’s none too shabby on the ice himself — gave a pre-game locker room pep talk to the team from Yale, his alma mater, and dropped the ceremonial puck to start the match. It apparently worked, and the Elis won, 5-1.

Unlike most of the fans, however, Kerry’s post-game agenda wasn’t a beer at the nearest pub, but rather catching a plane to Paris for meetings on Syria.
