Hey, isn’t that … top officials from all three branches of government in the audience at Wednesday’s opening-night performance of “Violet” at Ford’s Theater.

Among those taking in the new gospel-rock musical were Attorney General Eric Holder and his wife, Sharon Malone,  Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg, White House social secretary Jeremy Bernard, and a slew of lawmakers, including former Senate Majority Leader Trent Lott, Rep. Jim Moran (D-Va.), and Sens. Saxby Chambliss (R-Ga.), Lisa Murkowski, (R-Alaska) and Jim Risch (R-Idaho).

So much for the separation of powers.
