WATCH: President Obama and French President Hollande’s State Dinner toasts

At the White House on Tuesday night President Obama and French President Francois Hollande reflected on the history of their two countries in amicable yet predictable toasts.

During his toast to France, President Obama gave a nod to French political thinker Alexis de Tocqueville, the nation’s history of racial equality, and French wine.

French President François Hollande reflected on the September 11th terrorist attacks during his speech at the state dinner.
