For all the cliched comparisons between this town and that other hub of hubris and self-tanners (cough-Congressman Boehner-cough) on the west coast, Washington can’t escape the occasional Hollywood moment. Case in point: the rolling credit of celebrities (from A list to D) who touch down in the District to lobby on the Hill, accept a humanitarian award or just hang at star-gazing hot spot Bibiana. Consider this new regular item we’re calling “BOLO” a glittery APB of who to “be on the look out” for in the District. This week’s a doozy with rock and screen stars dotting the local map.

There will be two chances to snap a selfie with one-name wonder Sting, and folk legend Paul Simon. They’ll be performing at the Strathmore on Wednesday as part of the Duke Ellington School of the Arts’ annual “Performance Series of Legends” fundraising concert. Bonus points if you manage to squeeze in Stevie Wonder, the night’s worst kept secret guest. Don’t have $250 for a ticket? Head to the Verizon Center on Thursday for “Paul Simon and Sting: On Stage.”

Jonesing for a “Fatal Attraction” fix? Because that’s not weird at all, you’re in luck. On Wednesday actress Glenn Close and her family will be on hand at the Mellon Auditorium to accept Research!America’s Advocacy Award in honor of their work “to end the stigmas and misunderstandings surrounding mental illness.” The star was last seen here in December to support the Excellence in Mental Health Act.

On Thursday, singer Sheryl “All I Wanna Do” Crow will be lending her voice to the 2014 Million Women March for Endometriosis on the National Mall. We’re told the Grammy winner will be performing an acoustic set.

Finally everyone’s favorite small nation state, er family, The Duggars of “TLC’s 19 Kids & Counting,” will be in full force at the Family Christian bookstore in Alexandria. Jill, Jinger, Jessa and Jana Duggar, the clan’s four eldest girls, will be signing their book “Growing Up Duggar.”
