Hey, isn’t that … Caroline Kennedy throwing out the ceremonial first pitch at a professional baseball game in Tokyo on Friday night.

The U.S. ambassador to Japan donned her support for the home team with a Yomiuri Giants T-shirt, and she looked like a pro (at least to us) as she wound up  for the throw.

Kennedy seems to be keen on a little baseball diplomacy. In January, she hosted Red Sox pitchers Koji Uehara and Junichi Tazawa at her home to celebrate their 2013 World Series win along with members of the Japanese baseball community.

“Baseball has forged a special bond between Japan and the United States,” she said at the event.

Kennedy arrived in Tokyo in November as the first female U.S. ambassador to Japan.
