Filmmakers Sean Fine and Andrea Nix Fine buy in the Palisades

Husband-and-wife filmmaking duo Sean Fine and Andrea Nix Fine have plenty of new spots to park those Oscar statuettes they won in 2013: They bought a five-bedroom, six-bath home in the Palisades for $1.6 million in February, according to newly public records.

Sean Fine is a third-generation Washingtonian who grew up in that neighborhood. The couple, whose documentary “Inocente” earned them the Academy Award, are the team behind Fine Films, a production company whose credits also include 2013′s “Life According to Sam.”
