Hey isn’t that… former “The View” co-host Star Jones having lunch at Teddy & The Bully Bar just south of Dupont Circle on Wednesday afternoon. Jones and two unidentified friends were joined at the bar by the former prosecutor’s constant four-legged companion, Pinky, who tagged along in Jones’s purse.

Doggy bag? What doggy bag? Jones ordered the shrimp po’ boy while Pinky had the grilled chicken. But before you go gagging on the lifestyles of the rich and famous, Pinky isn’t just any chi chi accessory (unlike those pink bows Jones makes her wear).

The 9-year-old Maltese is a registered service animal that helps to keep Jones, who had open heart surgery in 2010, stress-free. Over the years the two have been spotted just about everywhere together from red carpets to Jones’s favorite neighborhood nail salon.

“She has become so much an extension of me; she is like my child,” Jones told Yahoo Health last year. “When Pinky and I are together, there is the absence of stress in my life and there’s something beautifully healthy about that.”
