“House of Cards” creator Beau Willimon got his first taste of politics as a campaign volunteer for Sen Chuck Schumer (D-N.Y.), and later went on to work for Hillary Clinton, Bill Bradley and Howard Dean. Schumer said on Saturday that he saw Willimon for the first time since his volunteer days.
