Celebrities wrap up White House Correspondents’ weekend on Instagram

It’s been three days since one of the biggest White House Correspondents’ weekends (one night just doesn’t cut it anymore), and most of the celebrities who made pit stops in D.C. have already moved on to the next black-tie affair, where A-listers and atelier designs aren’t so out of place — the Met gala, anyone? But for the rest of us, the WHCD is still pretty fresh in our minds, if not on our social media. Relive some of the event’s highlights through the fancy folks who did it best, like Oscar winner Lupita Nyong’o doing no wrong outside the White House.

Or comedian Kevin Hart networking with Ron Meyer, vice chairman of NBC Universal.

Actress Mindy Kaling snapping a selfie with actor Tim Daly, whom she called “Officer Handsome & Mad.”

Professional Instagrammer Questlove posing with his new “BFF” actor Patrick Stewart.

“Scandal” good-girl-gone-bad Katie Lowes posing with co-star Guillermo Diaz and White House senior adviser Valerie Jarrett, whom Lowes nominated for “Command! 2014!” the head of the secret spy agency B613.

Sofia Vergara of ABC’s “Modern Family” running into music legend Gloria Estefan and her husband, Emilio.

Uzo Aduba and Taylor Schilling, the stars of “Orange is the New Black,” being very excited.

Julia Louis-Dreyfus, who plays the second in line on HBO’s “Veep,” posing “with the greatest football player in the NFL,” Seattle Seahawk Richard Sherman, and his girlfriend.

Behind the scenes of Saturday night’s fake-Washington-meets-real-Washington video.

Kid President, who we hear took a catnap during the actual president’s routine Saturday night (hey, he’s 10!), just being a kid.
