Obama has retired the ‘mom jeans’

Speaking at the National Baseball Hall of Fame on Tuesday, President Obama recalled a pair of "mom jeans" he wore during a 2009 All-Star Game, saying his wife has since retired them. (AP)


“There was also some interest in the jeans I wore that night, but Michelle retired those jeans quite a while back.”

— President Obama on Tuesday made light of the jokes made about the jeans he wore to the 2009 MLB All-Star Game. The jacket he wore to the game is on display at the National Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum. Obama stopped by the museum in Cooperstown, N.Y., to promote the U.S. tourism industry.
