“I’m so sorry I’m late. American Airlines tried to keep me,” apologized actor Michael Ealy after arriving more than an hour past the start time for the screening of his new comedy, “Think Like a Man Too,” with co-star Meagan Good.

The night before, Ealy was in Miami at yet another of the film’s red carpets. So maybe his Aunt Ruby, who was sitting down front, gave the 40-year-old actor a pass.

Ealy, who was born in Washington, raised in Silver Spring and graduated from the University of Maryland in 1996, made sure to shout out his local crew in the audience — and get in a few digs.

“All my friends are here,” Ealy said. “I can see all of them right now. You guys got old.”
