President George H.W. Bush commemorated the big 9-0 on Thursday with what’s become his milestone birthday tradition: skydiving.

The world woke up to this tweet from the former president:

We shouldn’t be surprised! He did warn us back in 2012 that he’d commemorate his 90th by skydiving once again. In honor of his latest leap from a plane, we’re taking a look back at his many jumps (Cue video above).

The 41st president’s birthday is also being marked with a celebration featuring another one of his favorite things: socks. His presidential library in College Station, Tex., is hosting a “crazy sock” party on Thursday (Warning: George H.W. Bush will not be in attendance, but Blue Bell ice cream will be available). Another way to get in on the festivities is to design your own crazy socks and have a chance to get them displayed at the presidential library.

Happy birthday, Mr. President!
