TLC’s ‘Little Couple’ on big D.C. adventure

Hey, isn’t that… the stars of TLC’s hit show “The Little Couple,” on a business-pleasure combo trip to Washington this week?

First, the hard stuff:  Jennifer Arnold and Bill Klein and their two kids dropped by Capitol Hill on Wednesday to promote legislation that would establish state-line-crossing Medicaid networks for kids with complicated medical conditions. There, they met with lawmakers, including the bill’s sponsors, Reps. Joe Barton (R-Tex.), Kathy Castor (D-Fla.), Gene Greene (D-Tex.) and Michele Bachman (R-Minn.), and Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Tex.).

Then, it was on to the nothing-but-fun part, when the family was spotted on Thursday, boarding that wacky faux pirate ship that docks at the Washington Harbor for a river cruise.

TLC crews following them everywhere, of course, and a flurry of waving fans (and releases being signed — that’s the reality of reality TV).
