“I think my brother got a little bit upset there was no ‘James.’ ”

— Pippa Middleton in her interview with NBC’s “Today” show talks about her six-day bike ride across the United States with her brother, James, who didn’t have the fan base of his older sister.

The siblings of the Duchess of Cambridge spent a week this month participating in a grueling charity bike ride known as the  “Race Across

America.” Pippa and her crew biked across 12 states on their ride from Oceanside, Calif., to Annapolis.

Some of Pippa’s biggest fans are apparently in Missouri, where she tells NBC’s Matt Lauer that she was cheered on by cow-bell-ringing crowds, who recognized her despite her wearing a helmet and sunglasses. Maybe it’s James’s relatively new facial hair that threw Americans off!
