Kanye West admits it’s tough to be an icon

“History’s gonna be harder to make than I thought.”

–Rapper and self-appointed “arbiter of taste” Kanye West on how difficult it is to being a professional slash-er (i.e., musician-slash-fashion designer-slash- film director) in a new interview with GQ magazine.

West, who married reality TV mega star Kim Kardashian in May, told the magazine that “in order to win at life, you need some Kim K skills, period.” (Kardashian’s ex-husband Kris Humphries is headed to the Washington Wizards next season. The two were married for 72 days.)
