Rep. Paul Ryan (R-Wis.) has decided not to run for president in 2012, leaving the GOP field temporarily without a champion of entitlement reform. Critics of Ryan argue that it is too easy to demagogue entitlement reform and that GOP contenders should simply point the finger at President Obama’s failure to lead.
