Most of us suspected this from the get-go. “A federal watchdog’s upcoming report says senior Internal Revenue Service officials knew agents were targeting tea party groups in 2011. The disclosure contradicts public statements by former IRS Commissioner Douglas Shulman, who repeatedly assured Congress that conservative groups were not targeted.”

Most liberal scribes don’t listen to how silly they sound. “For a long time, it seemed like the idea of a [Benghazi] coverup was just a Republican obsession. But now there is something to it.” There was always something to it; it’s just now that the MSM are figuring it out. And I guess I wasn’t an “obsession,” but the correct assessment which liberals denied vehemently for months and months.

Most every Obama official has said Bashar al-Assad is almost kaput. Now it seems he is winning the war. “Forces loyal to Syrian President Bashar al-Assad are beginning to turn the tide of the country’s war, bolstered by a new strategy, the support of Iran and Russia and the assistance of fighters with Lebanon’s Hezbollah movement.”

Most hawks see this as further evidence that the regime is not amenable to diplomacy. Repression at home and aggression abroad go hand-in-hand. “With elections around the corner in June, repression in Iran has been increasing. That Lech Walesa was able to stay in Poland (like Havel in Czechoslovakia) but [Iranian labor leader Mansur] Osanlu must flee to save his life is a measure of that repression. The concentration on nuclear negotiations with Iran sometimes obscures that the real problem is not the weapons but the regime itself, and any negotiated deal that makes that regime more secure and extends its life would contribute to repression in Iran and instability in the entire region.”

Most Americans oppose late-term abortions. “A solid majority of Americans (61%) believe abortion should generally be legal in the first three months of pregnancy, while 31% disagree. However support drops off sharply, to 27%, for second-trimester abortions, and further still, to 14%, for third-trimester abortions. Gallup has found this pattern each time it has asked this question since 1996, indicating that Americans attach much greater value to the fetus as it approaches viability, starting in the second trimester.”

Most voters and even most Republicans agree. “Like most everyone, I’d like the borders to be tightened as much as possible. And the whole immigration process must be streamlined and reformed. But bringing millions out of the shadows and into the tax-paying workforce, allowing for an orderly flow of immigrants each year, and raising the limit on foreign brainiacs and students would be a massive economic-growth-producing reform. That’s the history of immigrants coming to the United States.”

Most mainstream reporters finally agree. “What we see in this process is that these talking points were edited to the point of inaccuracy.”

Most conservatives for years have thought so. “CBS anchor Pelley: Journalism’s house is on fire.” It is not just what they don’t get right, but what they don’t want to cover.
