Piratz Tavern debacle will be ‘Bar Rescue’ season premiere

authentic pirate experience, complete with a server named One-Eyed Mike who actually has only one eye.

Taffer’s idea: turn the dive into the Corporate Bar and Grill, complete with luxury ice cubes.

The pirates were not pleased. There was a mutiny. The owners turned the place back into a pirate bar. My colleague Tim Carman’s report on the culinary theatrics was bizarre and hilarious:

Spike TV’s producers obviously think this makes for great TV: They just announced that the Piratz Tavern episode will be the show’s season premiere on July 22. Below is a preview the show just posted. It is wonderfully surreal.
