Pippa commits the cardinal sin of front row style

Pippa Middleton has committed the cardinal (or shall we say carnal?) sin of front row style. During the Alice Temperley show at London Fashion Week, Pippa donned an Alice Temperley “fan dress" that retails for $1,745. Unfortunately, it was difficult to notice the dress when other assets were visible.

While standing, the Temperley London dress fell three inches above Pippa’s knees. When seated, however, the dress gave photographers an eyeful of thigh and caused the blogosphere to question whether the sister of Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge chose to forgo underwear.

Fashion shows, unlike London sidewalks or private nightclubs, demand that women prepare for the flurry of photographers snapping the models and the front row. Whether editor, socialite or movie star, a woman in row A must be prepared for extra scrutiny. As a newcomer to celebrity, Pippa should take notes from fashion industry pros like Anna Wintour, Kate Lanphear or Harpers Bazaar’s Glenda Bailey, who’ve braved many a photographer without embarrassing wardrobe malfunctions. All sit pretty in front rows without flashing too much of something other than style.
